Rajan Lopchan: I want to join this Kechara Department. May I join here. I am in Nepal. But I watch your youtube videos, and I like them alot. They are awesome. I am very much interested in Buddhism. But I can't read tibetan (sambhota) scripts. But your videos are available in english language that helps me learn and understand a lot of thing in buddhism. Thank you very much for beautiful and great videos related buddhism. Thats why I am very very interested to join Kechara or anything that is related to Tsem Rinpoche in Nepal( kathamandu area). Thank you.
Meghna: To Tsem Rinpoche :) A very, VERYYYY happy birthday to you!! Thank you so, so very much for all that you have done and still do so. I cannot even begin to thank you, to be honest - you are so amazing! (The day I came across your teachings legit changed everything for me.) I sincerely hope, wish (and pray) that ALL you wish for comes true, even better than you envisioned. Thank you again! Today is such a blessed day!
Sonam Dawa: You are the one from which I got the Buddha Dharma deeply please continue your Budhisattva's action to benefit all beings. Thank you so so so so much....()... I pray to meet you some day in my Life ..
Pawel Jarema: I mean... how funny can you get while explaining responsibility and mature... stuff? Big respect. Don't stop!
Sonam Dawa: ..().. Chaktsal Rinpoche la. I am deeply grateful for every activities you do especially when you share your teachings with us. I have no words how much you mean to me. Thanks a lot. May Buddha Dharma blaze forth..()..
Henry De IV: Keep teaching the Rinpoche. I learn so much from your teaching online. Only true dhama seekers will learn and transform. The one lost in samsara they will dwell in comfort and be hard to exit the material world. You don't need to help millions only few true practitioners will benefit your teaching and gain enlightenment la. Afterall all phenomena is empty
Kent Tan: Happy Lunar New Year dear Eminance Rinpoche. Thank you for accepting me as friend on fb. Have met you abt 11 yrs ago in Melaka for conducting puja prayers for my dad. I am Shirley Tan elder brother who reside in SG. I suffer a stroke in 2013. Believe your prayers has made me determine to get better. Family is fine thanks for ur blessings.
Mark Steeves: Dearest Rinpoche. Words cannot describe the thanks I have in my heart to you and your Gurus. As well all of those at Kechara. Since finding your teachings on youtube I have learned so much because of your kindness in sharing your Dharma teachings. I had a previous FB account I closed and I would be honored and humbled if you would except my friend request as you are highly regarded and respected to me. I have studied the Dharma for over ten years but, I have only truly begun to learn, and to put into practice, because of your dedication, clarity and compassion. I live in eastern Canada and it is difficult to attend Dharma teachings here. I had the opportunity to attend the Tsongkhapa center started by H.E. Zawa Rinpoche and could not due to obligations at work. Always obstacles but with determination I may once again find myself able to finally take refuge and become the person I truly feel can help in so many more ways than I am. I have worked as a Health care/ Nurse Aide for the past 20 years and this career have provided me with many opportunities to apply the teachings of Lord Buddha's kindness and compassion each and every day. For this I am most blessed. I know you are busy and I will not trouble you further. Please know, as I am sure you do ?, that one such as myself shouldn't ask anything of the Guru. I only request that you may pray for me so that I may quickly arrive at the Dharma and I will meet my Guru one day soon. Overjoyed at having this opportunity. May you have long life and be well. Hands humbly folded in kind, Many thanks. Mark Robert Allen Steeves.
Kareen Lee: Dear Rinpoche, I am Kareen from Klang. I just wanted to tell you that when I stumbled upon your videos on YouTube, you really had me in stitches! N changed my perception about dharma. Congratulations for your great work at Kechara. Hope to meet you someday.?
Pema Chochab: Dear Tsem Tulku Rinpoche, I recently came across your teachings via YouTube and I just want to let you know that you're absolutely amazing. Thank you for all that you do!
Jose Delgado: Hello rinpuche, my name is Jose Delgado . I know we have not met but I have seen your videos and post . and I find them to be really inspirational. It has really inspired me to practice dharma and share it with others. May bhudha bless you, amitofo
Abinav Thakuri: Dear Rinpoche, I wanted to post here to thank you for all of your teachings! They have helped me tremendously! :) I have been learning from the blog and video teachings for some time now and the lessons have changed my life. Especially, death meditation. I have been following your teaching on death meditation and have been doing it for more than 8 months now. I didn't feel anything at first, but now I feel like i can accept negative things that happen in life in a totally positive way! I also want to do any good I can now! Instead of just waiting. I used to be lazy and had negative thoughts about life all the time before. But now it's gone! :) I also feel that death meditation can be a good counter to depression. Thank you so much Rinpoche! :)
Sharon Ong: Pastor D, I know what you mean. I actually feel much closer to Rinpoche now even though Rinpoche is half a world away. And am not talking about just the gifts he sends me but through my prayers, I feel him in my heart. Sometimes, I miss him so much that it aches although I have not even stood within 3 feet from Rinpoche. I wonder if am making any sense.
Michael C: I didn't start reciting Manjushri mantra until only after seeing all of Your um advertisements or explanations about Manjushri. And i wouldn't have started accumulating prostrations if i hadn't seen this video by You: Tsem Rinpoche Teaches Prostrations (part 1). That video taught me how to do full prostrations correctly and motivated me because the benefits of prostrations are also explained in that video. So again, thank You Tsem Rinpoche!
Josselynn: Dear Rinpoche I want you to know from the bottom of my heart that your teachings have changed my life a lot. First of all, is your inspiration book “Why You Make Yourself Unhappy” how this book can changed my life. It’s amazing! I sincerely want to find out more about you and in depth towards Buddhism. Along the journey finding about Rinpoche I went into YouTube learning what I want to know about Buddhism. It’s so awesome as if I am there listening to you. I decided to find out about Kechara. My first visit I bought Tara pendant, immediately the 2 box sets of Tsongkapa & Setrap prayers but never approach anyone yet for a year. Until last September, I decided to write a mail to you personally and here I am since January 2014 I became member. Of course, when I first came to Kechara I request to meet you unfortunenately you have gone to US. Kind regards
Josh Akers: Dearest Tsem Rinpoche, your endurance of suffering has transformed my life. Without you I would still be eating meat and would be much worse in life, probably a nervous wreck. You have shown me firm ground to stand on. I tell everyone I possibly can about you. Every time I meet an open minded person I go straight to you with the conversation. In fact I refer to you so much that I have brought some shame to myself from not knowing enough. I have to get a strong practice again and not stop. I am wise enough to know that if I do not do this, I will never have the peace I seek in this lifetime. Im going to make sure im at the next live blog chat. You know im a lazy practitioner, but I am not giving up, and I despise my own bad behavior. I can, and I will, transform.
Rex: Rex from San Francisco
So Kin Hoe (Ipoh): Dearest Rinpoche, the Appreciation Shrine is very beautiful and filled with love, care, blessings and many more auspicious items. Thank you for your blessings and the teachings that you have given us in Malaysia and now are very beneficial to many people who are new in Dharma. I sincerely pray for Rinpoche's long life and good health.   View original comments
Matthew Trumbull: Thanks everyone! I'm very grateful to Tsem Rinpoche. I've learned a lot from him and other Kechara students via twitter. I live in the US where it's hard to come across such things as Buddhism. It's been enormously helpful!
Margo Mitchell: Tsem Rinpoche, I love your blogs. you explain everthing so well, not above people to the people. I never in my life would have thought I would see so many wonderful sights, and truly stunning workmanship on the buddhas. thank for bringing more Buddhism into my small piece of the world in Canada. It is truly awe inspiring and you are a great teacher for Westeners. thank you again for your many films..Namaste.
from Howard Diep: How did I find out about Tsem Rinpoche... I actually do not remember to be honest. I believe I was on Youtube one day and I came across one of his wonderful Dharma talks. I then looked up his website and got fully engaged with the different resources that he had to offer. Many many many many thanks to Tsem Rinpoche and everyone else at the Kechara House. I am so lucky and blessed to have encountered all of this. When I get more money I will definitely help and donate to the Kechara House & Monastery. I hope to also visit one day as well. I must say I am a little bit obsessed about the resources offered. I spend at least 2 hours everyday browsing through the different posts, videos, and pictures to learn more about Tibetan Buddhism, and the Dharma.
Keith: Hi Tsem Tulku Rinpoche, My name is Keith from the Philippines. I would just like to say thank you for all your contributions to Buddhism and your talks that have changed me for the better. I find it funny how the topic of your talks match the timing the problems I want to improve on. It may be coincidence, but I'm still very grateful. I feel that my path is to be a bodhisattva, but I have so many problems that I have to overcome. Your talks have really helped me a great deal, and I feel so much gratitude. I might not be able to donate, but if there's any way I could help you please let me know. On your video on "Hurting Others" I found one thing mentioned to be very profound, then a few seconds later you start saying it's profound. I'm now going to start saying "I love you" my mom and will say to her "good night" right now because of that. :) Again, thank you for these talks and I wish from my heart that you live long. Thank you. Sincerely yours, Keith
lao tzu : Dear Rinpoche…I hope you are feeling better.Since I stumbled across your blog a few weeks ago I have visited it daily and find everything so inspiring and encouraging that my own practice has deepened and become more sincere, more heartfelt. You have such courage and fearlessness and have touched thousands of people with your Great Being heart.Keep on doing it ‘your way’,the traditional teachings of Lama Tsongkhapa presented alive and kicking for the 21 st Century. How fortunate your students are.Rejoicing for Malayasia and the world.xxxx
Bo: Good morning Rinpoche and Kecharians. Without a doubt you are the most sincere, honest and genuine I sincerely thank you for the great teaching on your blog. Thank you
Wai Queen: Good morning Rinpoche! Please accept my deepest gratitude for all teachings you have given on the blog. Through your blog, I have learned so much and discovered I have even more to learn! I have the blogchat on at work, just so I can work to the sound of the 'blop blop'.
Andrea Kuieck: From Andrea Kuieck: The Tsem Tulku Rinpoche dharma Dvd's he sent me a few years back that did not work on any of my devices now DO work on my laptop!!! I am so happy! I had a little Dharma marathon last night and it was awesome. He is such a charismatic, intelligent speaker. Anyone who ever wants to come watch him with me is welcome.
Jim Yeh: Dear Rinpoche, Thank you for your wonderful parcel containing your teachings and movies. I have just finished reading The Promise and was very motivated and inspired to put the needs of others before the needs of my own. I will try my best to spread the word of dharma and convince as many people as I can to become a vegetarian, even if I could manage to convince them to do it for a month, week or day. It has almost been a month since I last touched meat and I will do whatever it takes to stay a vegetarian. Thank you Rinpoche. For everything, your teachings are truly inspiring. I find myself talking a lot more about dharma with my friends and colleagues. I do get questioned about dharma from time to time, but it does help me strive for more dharma knowledge. Joy has been of great help to me lately in answering many questions that I have. I am so glad to have met her early on. My Lama Tsongkhapa statue may arrive tomorrow and am very excited. I will have to watch the DVD that you sent in order to properly invite Tsongkhapa. Once again, thank you for everything. Jim Yeh
Richard Woodroffe: For tsemtulku – Greetings Rinpoche. Yours is one of the rare blogsite that is very informative and interesting which never fail to fascinate.
Tara: Hi Tsem Tulku, I Just want to say again. You are awesome and I am so glad that you exist. There is so many bad lamas around and you are truly holding the lineage down. Its amazing to see you on youtube as well as to hear the knowledge which you so graciously give to benefit many being . You are a true tulku and a true embodiment of wisdom and compassion. May you Live Long and Benefit Many and Be in Eternal Bliss.
Brian McGuire : Dear Rinpoche, I received my Tsongkhapa box set in the mail today. WOW. What a blessing. Truly a great treasure. I feel like I have a very deep connection & personal affinity with the brilliantly flawless tsatsa contained therein. I was deeply inspired by the high quality of this gift kit. I have been practicing the Guru Yoga of Je Tsongkhapa ever since my Guru, Khenchen Palden Sherab Rinpoche passed into mahaparinirvana. Your websites and kechara have been fueling my spiritual practice in a very profound way. Thanks for all that you do. You are a beacon of light in a dark dismal world. I plan on purchasing the Setrap box set before the American New Year because I know the trustworthiness of materials from Vajrasecrets. I hope you & the whole Kechara family over in Malayasia are blessed with joy, happiness, & long life! Devotedly in America- Brian McGuire Pema Dorje
Vivek Karmaa Subba: I grew up in a Missionary school, where we had Bible studies; I was in the hostel since my childhood days for almost 11 years of my school life. I was influenced by Christianity. I still love and believe in Lord Jesus Christ. At home my father is a Hindu and my Mom is a Buddhist. We have an altar, with idols from both the religion. With so much of religion, and so many Gods I was confused. I was lost and always looked for logic in religion. I could not understand why humans killed each other in the name of religion. I could not understand why people could get away every time after committing a sin, simply my asking God for forgiveness. Most of all I could not understand the reason a destitute baby had to suffer by being born in utter poverty. Although the philosophy of Buddhism was right before me, my limited mind could just comprehend the basic logic of ‘cause and effect’ viz. Karma. Then I found His Holiness Tsem Rinpoche, who give me the spiritual faith in Buddhism. His preaching on the basic need for keeping a Buddha idol, significance of mantras, prayer beads and the significance of the extra 8 beads from a total of 108, for making offerings like water in 7 or 8 bowls with a rice spacing between them et al. gave me the reason to be more spiritual. At present I know I have a teeny-weeny knowledge in my tiny brain about true nature and Buddhism, but I know now it’s time to stop asking questions like I always did, and find answers through practice. Today what I am is because of Rinpoche, and the hard work and dedication of the whole team of Kechara, Pastors, the brains behind the internet, the people who take care of Rinpoche; thank you everyone. I realize impermanence and my duty as a human. All good deeds I do have a little bit of Rinpoche and Kechara in it. Thanks. -Vivek Karmaa Subba on Dec 2, 2012 at 7:52 am
Edvin Stokic : Tsem, your consistency and determination to help people all over the world with Buddhas teaching is something incredible and so rare. Thank you for consistency and motivational drive that comes out from every word on your blog.
Courtney Harper: Greetings Rinpoche, I would simply like to express my gratitude for your wisdom given in videos and lectures. They have helped pull me from addiction and illusions that were disrupting my ability to experience a free mind. I have a lot of love for your being. Best wishes for you and your journeys to come.
Zayden: All this while I was looking for a teacher to follow and a master to learn from. I must say that Tsem Rinpoche’s teaching and approaches to propagate the Dhamma is very interesting, especially the talks given by Rinpoche. I recently watched the video on “What is God? What is Buddha?” and I was very much inspired! Thanks Rinpoche for your efforts in turning the wheel of Dhamma in this 21st Century era! It is certainly a blessing that Rinpoche resides in Malaysia, where it will be much easier for me to meet Rinpoche in person, or stop by Kechara House when I’m in KL
Wan Wai Meng: Rinpoche tirelessly cares for people non stop and I recall Rinpoche saying that how much we progress spiritually is how much more we care for the people around us. No one is beyond our care and compassion. And we should show a lot of care especially those that do a service for us.
Adeline Chan: I have been frequenting the website on a fairly regular basis as I found the extensive quality contents there not only impressive but also immensely illuminating and life enriching to any one who is attracted to Buddhism. Praiseworthy is that, one and all at your end, along a focused common meritorious platform, consistently has, in no small measure, compassionately and selflessly contributed, with remarkable efficient coordination, towards alleviating the pangs of human earthly-related suffering, but more importantly, in the making available and accessible of crucial guidance, which in accordance to one school of Buddhist thought, towards the “‘entry’ into the womb or matrix of Buddhahood existing in all beings which provides beings with the possibility of awakening to their true nature.” If may say so, the blog chat section is noted to be well participated and most of the time it has fruitfully served the intended purpose of having the spaciousness to cater to ...........the sharing of varied views, opinions, thoughts and feelings however divergent to traditional outlook they may be. However, a chat at around 4-00pm today: “There's a FROG sitting on our dining table. I don't think we're in Kansas anymore toto. I freak out and ran to sit on the other side.” which though appearing as non-conspicuous, nevertheless has somehow draw my attention to it. If it narrated an actual happening at the actual place, by all account the story of the actual event may tickle the funny bone but, if otherwise, I am just wondering, but anyway it is most unlikely, that an embodiment of Avalokitesvara was resorting to it as a subtle allegory with regard to something else. Whatever the case may be, let the past be the past. It is said that “Trifles make perfection and perfection is no trifle.” This is my first participation on this blog chat and therefore carrying flaws in the attempt.
Takuan: (Sunday, Sep 23. 2012 07:26 AM) Dear Rinpoche, Because of your work through this blog, I was motivated to visit my local dharma center (Shambhala lineage). Although I’ve been familiar with Buddhist thought for a few years now, this was the first time I sat down to meditate in a shrine room with a qualified meditation instructor. After my initial experience, I couldn’t wait to experience my first group sitting, and on Friday morning, I was able to meditate with a group. I’m more motivated to learn and practice dharma than ever! I wouldn’t have gone there if it had not been for you work on this blog. Thank you for the inspiration, Rinpoche!
Ani Chozom: Dear Tsem Tulku Rinpoche, We found your June posting on the Gebchak nuns (while searching for a bardo teaching) and want to say thank you for taking inspiration and drawing attention to the nuns among your students and friends. The Gebchak nuns are so remote and their renunciation so pure, people don’t hear much about them except for the noise we try to make on their behalf. So thank you for your support and sharing. Thank you for your blog and teachings as well. They never fail to provide the hearty laugh and kick in the pants needed when I’m feeling blue! With all best wishes, Ani Chozom
tsemtulku: These were sent to my assistant Beng Kooi, I thought to share it here. Thank you Anila Chozom. I am honoured to share the lives of these holy nuns with the world. Tsem Rinpoche ______________________________________ Thank you for your help forwarding the email to His Eminence. I'm Tenzin Chozom and I've worked for Gebchak Gonpa since 2007 - as translator to the abbot, Wangdrak Rinpoche, and as secretary to the Nunnery's fundraising projects. I've never lived within Gebchak Nunnery, only visited several times. I've lived in India since 2000 in Drukpa Kagyu and Nyingma nunneries (Dongyu Gatsal Ling near Dharamsala, and Tsogyal Shedrubling in Bylakuppe). Presently I'm studying Indian Philosophy at an Indian university in Varanasi. Thanks again and best wishes in your work, Chozom ________________________________________ Dear Tsem Tulku Rinpoche, We found your June posting on the Gebchak nuns (while searching for a bardo teaching) and want to say thank you for taking inspiration and drawing attention to the nuns among your students and friends. Chee Fei: Dear Rinpoche, Good afternoon. I have gone thru some of your background. Thank you very much for what you have done to all living beings.... May all living being understand the buddha nature on themselves. Once again, thank you very much your prayers on them.
Doug Mlodzinski : Rinpoche - not only do I love reading your words here on Facebook, but your photo postings are a hoot! And your YouTube dharma talks make me feel like I'm part of your sangha. Thank you.
John: Dear Rinpoche, Thank you very much for your Dharma teachings on YouTube which I recently came across. I especially appreciated your teachings on death and I hope you will make available more YouTube videos on preparing for death and attaining enlightenment and liberation during the process of death. May you be blessed with long life and health. I live in Australia & have lost my income & career (35 years of work & study including earning 4 University Degrees) due to poor health. With great reverence and appreciation from a grateful follower of your teachings of the Dharma
Ugyen Wangdi: Your H.E Tulku Rinpoche, It is very sad to note how you have been brought up. Although, you had a very difficult time during your childhood days, you were able to overcome all those hurdles and now you are here to help sentient beings. One day, I pray to meet you personally and receive blessings. Long live Tulku!-Ugyen Wangdi
Jason: Dearest Rinpoche, Thank you SO MUCH for all of the work that you tirelessly do. Because of you, now I know about Lama Tsongkhapa guru yoga and the Migtsema prayer. Before I did these practices I was so shy that I never had any courage to go to any dharma centers and had to study by myself. Now, I have made dharma connections to Jhado Tulku Rinpoche and soon will take formal refuge for the first time, under Yangsi Rinpoche. Both wonderful teachers, but I could never have done it without your inspiration, so I owe you deepest thanks. Even before I decided to study the Vajrayana path I felt a strong connection to Vajrayogini, and I was so happy to listen to your advice about preparing for Vajrayogini NOW, even before being able to take the initiation. All of my dharma practice that I do, is for the sake of someday doing Her practice to reach enlightenment swiftly as possible for all sentient beings. May you live a long life and may all of your disciples do only what pleases you, and never disobey your holy wishes!
Joy: The one thing about being in Kechara, led by Rinpoche, is that once you're in it you really can't imagine your life without it. Once you see the value of it, nothing else can compare to living, breathing Kechara. It becomes your life.I think that a lot of the people who don't do much, but are still in Kechara, are still here because they can't imagine their life without it.Everyone's who is a full-time Kecharian (or even actively involved members) came in without knowing what to expect, but slowly realised how addictive Kechara is.I can't imagine my life without it, to the point that seeing people pursuing secular work scares me that I could have been in that position rather than the blessed one I am in now. So, if I give up and everyone gives up there is nothing to live for.
sohan: I heard that this is an award wining blog. Congrats the author.
Sohan: I heard that this is an award wining blog. Congrats the author.
sohan: I heard that this is an award wining blog. Congrats the author.
Tenchee: I have been listening to his Dharma talks on Podcasts, youtube and recently in this blog. He really explains everything is such simple manner, its very hard not to comprehend what he is saying. I really enjoy the way he teaches dharma. I took a religion class in my university and we had speakers from different religion come talk to us and share their knowledge on thier respective religion. I think Rinpoche would be a great teacher to speak to crowd like that because he really makes this relatable. Plus ever since i heard him I have been sharing his videos to lots of my friends here and regardless of what religion they follow they have found his teachings to be very profound and novel.
Randy V: Hi Rinpoche, dnt know why and dnt know how heheheh also dnt want to know the reason, happen your youtube video cross my search, i sat whole hour just listen you speak about dying process is really a new learning for me again, i like the way your new age approach of teaching, i been a buddhist since im at the age 5 but as time grew, i went to in search of is there really GOD and yes i found G-ood O-ver D-evil in oneself hahahaha many Guru Rinpoche spokes in youtube but to be honest none make me want to continue to listen and learn hehehehe as i may fall asleep, but when I saw your teaching upload in youtube it bring back me more on spiritual understanding and furthermore, lastly on our willing if we will meet one day and some how, im just an idot in all my life i live asking n searching for nothing or thinking without knowing or knowing yet still doing the wrong path of life, therefore thanks again Rinpoche and may you gave us more teaching and enlightenment Buddi lu yah hahahaha
Michael: RInpochela, I just wanted to drop by and thank you for you youtube videos. They keep my ego in check and help me understand what it really is I am doing when I practice. I practice at Dallas, Texas at a Kagyu center with Lamala Dudjom Dorjee. http://wordpress.ktcdallas.org/ . Two of my sangha brothers and I use many of your videos for discussion and they help us a great deal. May your activities spread and flourish for the sake of all beings. Seng Piow: Tashi Deleg Sir! We like "Dont Embarrass the Buddha" quite a bit, "How Tantric Deities Bless Us" , all of them with debate in them, and many others. Being a Kagyupa we seem to emphasize practice from the very beginning, so philosophy and logic are good for us to work on. I just finished my MA in philosophy and am currently applying to Phds for Indo-Tibetan Buddhist Studies, so watching sharp debating is very beneficial for me especially!
Marten: My dearest Guru Tsem Tulku Rinpoche, you looks very healthy on your picture. And it seems to, that you are thinner It looks good ^^ You know, you are always on my mind. Your are a new generation of lama, but also with old roots… And actually i do, what you said. Don´t thinking…doing ^^ And it works. With love and light my good guru…best regards, your student from germany

ckliew: ALL the hardships that Rinpoche been through makes who he is today. A person with steel determination , sharp thinking , perseverance and witty more like a street fighter. He never gives up no matter what he comes accross not now , not in the future. This whole blog post is mind blowing and bending for Him to put it down in writing shows total letting go of the past , no simple man can do that. If any of the above happens to any one of us we might not evenr survive it let alone triumph upon all and achieve what we sees today. The part that really hit me the most is where Rinpoche says even his so called students cheated him of his money , love and care for them. How hurtful must it be for Rinpoche at that time. So you see whatever Rinpoche does from long ago till now , says , thinks , advices all are so consistent, its not just from the point of Buddhisht teaching, its buddhist teaching + all the life experiences that are way so much difficult and tougher than anyone been through. http://blog.tsemtulku.com/tsem-tulku-rinpoche/me/you-havent-seen-the-last-of-me.html
Yee Ling: Dear Rinpoche, I love your story of your life in LA. You combined Dharma with living so smoothly and despite the hardship faced every challenge with such aplomb. Life as a homeless teenager must have been fraught with risk and difficulty but yet your story is one of freedom to live exactly as you want to and have Dharma as your guide. How wonderful to be so sure even at that age what you wanted in life. Many of us, myself included would have been tied down trying to do the "right" things and grow old wondering what happened!!! Thank you for sharing this story as it is so inspiring. I will make sure I get enough merits in this life so I know what I will be doing in my next life, even if it is as a worm circumambulating the Vajrayogini stupa, haha
Jim Riches: Dear Rinpoche, The more I practice Setrap....the more progress I make in helping others and conditions have become much more conducive to practising dharma. All I wanted to say was thank you for bringing this excellent practice to all, I really am grateful. Best Wishes Jim Riches
Kei Toeda: Thank you for all that you have done, I really like going to this blog and reading all the stuff that you have put up thank you very much and I hope for you to get well very soon please
Dr. Cynthia Kegel: For tsemtulku – Thank you, tsemtulku rinpoche for your appreciation of the feminine and its strength and power. You know of course, that you have it in you as well. We mothers, after feeding a baby with our own bodies, know what it is to give ourselves. I give you myself, the most valuable thing I have. Cindy
steve holley: Dear Rinpoche I was immediately drawn to this photo of H.H.Kyabje Zong Rinpoche. It seems to me to capture all the Wisdom of the Ancients.I had the great good fortune to meet H.H.in the early 1980s when He visited London and stayed at the then Manjushri London Centre, now Jamyang B.C. It was clear to all that H.H.was the very epitomy of all that is wise, compassionate and powerful, and a little scary, at least to this rather feeble mind. They were exciting and happy times and feel privileged to have been introduced to the precious Dharma by such great Masters. And now having found your website it seems like the source, and resource to inspire us all and the fulfillment of the Guru's purpose. Glorious Teacher of our Time.
Saikat: I would like to thank Rinpoche for generating my interest and curiosity in lord Buddha's dharma. Being in India I found opportunities to interact with Tibetan Lama's was not easily available as it is in the west & south east asia. But ever since I got genuinely interested in Dharma, fate has played its role and now I have taken refuge in the three jewels from Ven. Khangser Rinpoche and came in contact with a small but dedicated group of students and dharma center in Bangalore under the guidance of Lama Zopa's FPMT. It seems to be that had I not came across H.E Tsem Tulku Rinpoche's blog and got genuinely interested to pursue dharma all this won't have materialized so quickly. Please communicate my heartfelt thanks to Rinpoche and I pray for his long life and that he continues to guide human beings on the path of dharma for years to come. Regards, Saikat
ck liew : Dearest Rinpoche , I really really really do tremendously appreciate you being here with us and i am so grateful to have meet you 2 years back. I am very sure what you give up with not be wasted many more will be benefited because of you. You might not want to be a guru , teacher or spiritual guide but the instruction from your teacher you follow through so diligently without giving up. You are a man of your own words , whatever you do reflect so much who you are. Your past , present and future actions are so consistent and its the same all the while. I have so much love and respect for you , i sure many of us does. With humility and full of reverence i beg you to stay. Stay with us for a long long time.
Mak Lai Poh : I am a beginner and I need Rinpoche to guide me to the right spiritual path as I always lose focus and easily distracted. This is from our view as a lay person. We are very thankful and fortunate to have Rinpoche to be based long term in Malaysia to help us awakened and reaching enlightenment. That's the most NOBLE job and ordinary people like us are reluctant to do as it required a lot of time, effort and energy. However, if we standing at Rinpoche's shoes, he is restricted to his own freedom and sacrifice just to share Dhamma teaching to us. He leads a good example to obey his respected teachers' advice to stay and remain here, really salute of his choice. He is doing what he isn't like that is to teach Dhamma and that is the most difficult thing to do. Really a great guru to learn from. Don't worry Rinpoche, Buddha knows you have sacrificed a lot for us and we are so grateful. One day, someone from your own students will be qualified to take over your position under your great guidance, training and teaching. It's just the matter of time, Rinpoche. At that time, Rinpoche can travel around the world to spread Buddhism freely. May Rinpoche be blessed to reach his dream very soon.Long life and great health, Rinpoche. Once again, thank you, Great Rinpoche for everything.
Don: Good morning, Rinpoche. Your story always brings tears to my eyes because your devotion is so great!
Dandy Danie : I'm rejoicing in your benevolent, kind works you did. I dedicate that for the sake of the teachings and of all sentient beings and for the essential teachings of Losang Drakpa to shine forever.
Denise Kuek : This is the first time i listen to your dharma, that's really beneficiate me especially the first part(what u achieved and r u happy), will keep reading and listening from u, thank you very much, my dear guru
WT Liang : Thank you Rinpoche for the precious teaching that has been passed down from the authentic lineage. Hope Rinpoche have a good rest. May Rinpoche live long and always turn the wheel of Dharma and KFR be ready soonest so that more will be benefited.
Carmelita DAvis : Rinpoche, u have a unique and wonderful way of teaching the Dharma. I listen to your YouTube teachings almost every night. You are a wonderful teacher!!!
Jack Ng: Dear Kind and Compassionate Tsem Tulku Rinpoche, From the depth of my heart, & for the first time in many years i have not in such a long time felt pure joy and happiness. Me and my family are so fortunate to be there to receive the oral transmission and to be blessed by H.E. Tsem Tulku Rinpoche's most treasurable dharma teachings. By the spiritual bond of having taken refuge in the triple jewel & with its clear instructions, i will from now onwards have right views, do right actions and generate right motivational bodhicitta. I will also make amends to better utilize my time and energy for the betterment of others, and will always hold dear to me the teachings of the Buddha. For this, i will commitedly pray to Manjushri for guidance and to apply the teachings whenever, wherever possible. Sadhu....sadhu....
mima: It is so wonderful to have a connection with you all at Kechara and with Rinpoche. Today I have a very negative day produce by my thoughts so tonight I went to listen to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nOhDRX4v7A8 and also watch David the Court Jester. I know that my negative state shall pass and in fact listening now to LOVE WITHOUT AGENDA is really helping me to see from the right place....I feel at peace when I listen to the teaching and practice with it...I feel all ok again and revitalized to continue my work here. I will be always grateful to know you all Kecharians and so grateful foe everything Rinpoche does with us....for us and all the beings everywhere....infinite gratitude...
Alfonso Malagón: Thank You kindly Rinpoche. Also, this might not be the most appropriate place to mention this, but I must thank You for the Je Tsongkhapa box set You created. It has been immensely helpful. I must thank the Kechara team as well. May all beings be freed from suffering.~Alfonso Malagón
Thomas Ngo: Would you please send my best regards and appreciation to Tsem Rinponche on the advices me of reciting Medecine Buddha and blow on the creatures before releasing them. This morning, on my way to work I did stop by a place that sell Live Crawfish and bought about 2 pounds and released them at a Bayou in a park. There were a strange thing happened, most of the crawfishes I released they went right into the water right away but about 2 or 3 of them did not go toward the water, they turned around crawling back and stopped and looked at me for a while then I kept reciting the Medicine Buddha mantra and blowed toward them then the other 2 turned back and went into the water. Just one of them stayed there and looked toward me for a while did not move at all, it seems like that creature just want me to give a sign of appreciation. I gently said " You are free now " it seems like that creature understand then slowly turned around and headed toward the into the water. I wished I could take the picture of that moment but I was in a hurry to work. Anyway, I would love to share the story with you and again I do appreciate the advice from Tsem Riponche in the previous email. Please send my best regards to Rinpoche. Best Regards, Thomas Ngo
Don: I have received immense benefits from Mother Tara and Namgyalma. Their practices, along with Lord Tsongkhapa's, have lifted a great weight from my shoulders. I owe it all to you, Rinpoche. I know I've said this before, but without you - I would still be groping around in the darkness.
monica matheka : (Wednesday, Apr 18. 2012 05:15 AM) dear venerable rinpoche, i hope these lines find you in a state without pain and happy spirits. i would like to express greatfulness about all the teachings and prescious dharma talks you have given us and humbly ask you from the depht of my heart to stay with us for still a very, very long time. i am tcm practioner and just read your blog entry from two days ago, about the pain sitting in your shoulder, keeping you from getting up. i also read your medical status attest and am so sorry for all the suffering you have to go tru. i am sure your taken very well care of by your doctors, and would like to suggest strongly to include traditionell chinese medicine in your care. with herbal therapy and acupuncture one should be able to corse your liver qi, which might be the cause of your shoulderpain. the liver qi seems to overcontroll the spleen. it should be controlled and most important in spring, as written in the acient classic ‘shang han lun’, the spleen should be tonified to keep the liver from overcontrolling. i wish you quick and good recovery and hope you will be better soon. i also read your question how to convert pdfs into word without loosing anything. my husband says it can be done with adobe acrobat professional. i seem to do it often, …., very easy. venerable rinpoche lagh, let us know if we can be of help, doesn t matter with helping to convert prayers or in medical brainstorming, it’s an honor for us to be of use. best wishes dear rinpoche lagh sincerely mone
David I. Lynch : Thank you Rinpoche your teachings and everyone at Kechara have been so very kind to me. When my leg was amputated you sent such a wonderful package of Dharma books and teachings to me. You have been such an inspiration and my teacher here Gelek Rimpoche speaks kindly of you also. Thank you again...
The same bruneian: I have a friend who never really did communicate with his father, their bond was terrible and they would argue everytime when they see each other. He was short-tempered and fed with ego. But now he has changed to a whole new person in less than six months. It's all because he has learned something like dharma but it has nothing to do with religion. He learned how to love himself, his family, his friends and is always thinking positive. He hugs his father every morning before he goes to work and has been trying his best to benefit the people around him. He came across on what I posted in fb and checked out about Rinpoche. He loves what he has found! He got so excited that he asked me out to share and exchange our knowledge. I am very happy that he feels contented now, filled with craze about compassion and not selfish to share it.
Shane Renaud: "May the suffering of all sentient beings ripen upon me, and through my virtues may all beings attain happiness"- From 'Mind Training the Great Collection' translated by Thupten Jinpa. Thank you so much Tsem Tulku Rinpoche for taking the time to help me in 2007 by giving me the Gaden Lha Gyema which I enjoyed doing and meant so much. I then later found my teacher Khentrul Lodroe Thaye Rinpoche from the Katog lineage. Thank you so much. Love Shane
Li Kheng: Dearest Rinpoche, Thank you for the audio file of Black Manjushri’s mantra. It has been forwarded to members of Wenshu House. I am certain everyone, especially Christine and Betty, is delighted to receive this precious gift. I listen to the mantra when I work on the computer. It is such a delight to hear the sound of Dharma in a place where pure Dharma is uncommon. It also ignites a sense of being home when I hear Rinpoche’s voice. Kecharians are very fortunate to live within the space that is blessed with pure Dharma taught by a compassionate, wise and skilful Resident Guru. I pray that all Kecharians continue to work diligently to efficiently and effectively bring forth the manifestation of Rinpoche’s vision of KWPC. This will empower more people around the world to receive Dharma through Rinpoche’s innovative methods. Thank you again Rinpoche. Love always, Li Kheng
Jordan L. Polycranos : The amount of content is staggering I have the mandala offering entry booked marked and I still enjoy and learn from that. Thank you again Rinpoche-la :) (re my blog)
Karma Gendun: Tashi Delek Rinpoche! I am emailing about the vegetarian pledge. I am currently a vegan, and I am committed to keeping it up for not only this life, but all of my lives. I feel somewhat ill when I see people buying and eating meat. I thank you greatly for recognizing the importance of being vegetarian and encouraging vegetarianism. I wish you good health and long life. As long as you live from now on I will say your long life prayer. Long life to you.
Natalie: Hi Rinpoche since reading your blog and watching your teachings mushrooms have been sprouting all over the garden. I even sowed some carrot seeds and a littile mushroom popped up instead!
Don: The chat feature is very beneficial. So many people can have a first glimpse of the Dharma through it - and then move on to more advanced studies because of it.
Victor Phang: Dear Rinpoche, For normal people, it is hard to have strong devotion to his/her guru; harder to follow 100% instruction from his/her guru; hardest to let go all the attachments in life. Today with your action, you are our role model and showing us all these can be done. I still have many many things to do and learn in order to strengthen my guru devotion. Thank you very much. With love, VP
tenzin llhamo: Without Zong Rinpoche, we will not have Tsem Rinpoche. Without Tsem Rinpoche, we will not have Kechara and all the beautiful teachings, love, care, understanding, changes in lives, people that comes with it! Thank you for all you have done Rinpoche! For I too will not be here without Rinpoche and have meaning in life.
Seng Aun: Dear Rinpoche, You are so well-known as a Guru of Great Compassion and for very good reason. Anyone who comes across your path feels so happy and blessed. Just by looking at the people or animals around you, really filled me with awe! With folded hands, OM MANI PEME HUNG.....................
Sarah: Rinpoche is one of the kindest people in my life. His dedication and compassion are amazing and inspiring. I hope one day I can become great also.
Giles: And wishing KWPC will be the start of a thousand years of Buddha Dharma for the World, just like the Golden Ages of before!
Giles: I think Your Eminence is too humble, for me you are a very powerful Lama indeed.
Giles: I Thank You very much indeed, Rinpoche, it has been a priviledge talking with you and I do very much appreciate it. Please keep strong, healthy, and may all your wishes be accomplished effortlessly.
Don: I have to say, Rinpoche, that if I lived in Malaysia - I would ask you to accept me as a student! I have learned more from you in a few months than I have from anywhere else. Thank you - I never fail to learn something from you
Cheryl: Dear Rinpoche you always amazes me with your passion and energy for the dharma. Pls rest well and take care of your health:)
Don Buchwalter : (Thursday, Mar 22. 2012 11:29 PM)I’d like to offer a personal story. I’ve been working on incorporating the Dharma into my life outside of my practice times. I started by making a list of what I perceived to be my faults – and then asking others what they perceived my faults to be. My main issue is my temper. However, in the relatively short time since Rinpoche introduced me to the Guru Yoga of Lord Tsongkhapa – I’ve noticed that my temper has gotten less and less “fierce”. Just visualising Lord Tsongkhapa and/or Rinpoche is enough to keep my mind calm. I know that neither Rinpoche nor Lord Tsongkhapa need a testimonial from me, but I offer one on the chance that it may help others new to Dharma practice. My temper has controlled me for most of my life. Now, thanks to Rinpoche and Lord Tsongkhapa, I’m finally breaking that control.
Dave Djinpa : Tsem Rinpoche, always extremely beneficial. My respect for your love n' care!
Seng Aun : Dear Rinpoche, I was amazed by your great compassion and kindness for Gabriel and Tamedran Raj. It showed how much you care, not only for us but for everyone irrespective of race, creed or colour. May you always be healthy and may your blessed activities forever grow and increase. With folded hands, thank you for bringing great dharma practices to us.
Pastor Susan: Dear Rinpoche Relieving people's pain and bringing healing (mental, emotion and body) this life and future lives is what Rinpoche has done for so many throughout the years. Thank you for giving me the opportunity, teachings, guidance and the know how to do something beneficial for the seen and unseen trapped beings. I didn't quite know how and unsuccessfully "make my own version" before I met Rinpoche. I am most grateful to Rinpoche and Kechara to support and allow me to be part of the healing arm. love Pastor Susan
Mr Saroj-Nepal: Your Eminence, My big bow to you. I had been to Boudha this morning to see your returnable goods to Malaysia. With surprise and happiness thank you so much for the gift extended me through Ms. Bengkooi. The Bajrayogini Pendents which is really beautiful as well as the peace of sign cross pen this will remain memorable as always. Your blessing are always with me and I feel very much honored to meet such a great holy person like you and you always remain in my heart. With best wishes. Saroj For Unique Cargo
Deki Yangzom: Whatever Rinpoche does and says makes me cry with joy! The idea of building stupas and Buddha statues in such places always fascinated me. I was just brewing in my mind to have one on my grandparents’ land which is surrounded by forest and lying fallow and the residents all long gone, only the memories of the good old times and wild animals lingering there. Rinpoche’s mention of this topic strongly reinforces me…Thank you Rinpoche. Tsem Rinpoche Khyenno!
Deki Yangzom.: Thank you Rinpoche for your ever active love and compassion! I learned a lot in few months what I haven't for decades through Your Eminence's blogs, video teachings...etc. I feel my veil of ignorance being peeled off layer by layer. May Rinpoche's teachings and activities touch the lives of many sentient beings far and wide... With Great Reverence, Deki Yangzom.
Bruneian: Everytime when I browsed through the articles on Rinpoche's blog, I would click on any article except those that have to do with Buddha or anything that relates to religion. Reason being I never did believe in God's existence. Until today, I am still living up to that reason. But something scary happened to my daughter last night and ironically, the Dukkar prayers kinda saved and solved the situation. Not only that, it also helped to calm me down. I was having panic attack at that time. I almost broke down and cried. Although I still find it hard to believe on the power of God or their existence, I guess from what happened yesterday, I would be telling myself to slowly open up to Buddha. For my daughter's sake, I will be doing the prayers on a daily basis. I really do feel grateful to this blog, RInpoche and also his team. Also, the person I would like to thank most is Albert Ratchaga. Thank you all so much.
Takuan : Dear Rinpoche, Ever since you posted the article about Dharma in Africa, I’ve wondered if there were people who knew of it there. I happened to stumble across this clip while watching a documentary entitled “Shortcut to Nirvana”. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9_Dlcfz3jWM I’d also like to thank you for this blog. I’m learning so much from it!
Ivy Francis Dechen Ashu : Rinpoche You a very dear spiritual master and friend. I am always amazed y=with your generosity and our silent powerful connection...(you are in Malaysia and i a min Brazil) i think something... you tagged in a post that has to do with my problem, or my joy, or what i need to do... You are a provider of many thingsand signs to me.. . And you come in the right moment... Your heart speaks to my heart and i prostrate to You in gratefulness. Much love and respects. I wish i can make you happy.
Bruneian: I can never get my hands off my laptop. The first thing I do when I wake up, switch on my laptop, go to google chrome and type in blog.tsemtulku.com or check if there is any new tweet in twitter. Then I would log into my fb and check out the kechara page or Rinpoche's page and see what is the latest update. Bliss =)
Peng Yiao: He is an International Treasure Living Buddha
Peng Yiao: This place combines all my interests: Buddhism, fun, funny, and etc. I really Like it here, Dharma Den
Bruneian: Holla from Brunei! Everytime when I land in a state of confusion, here is where I seek my guidance. Thank you so much Rinpoche for this wonderful blog. I love your books too. Will purchase more when I come to Malaysia again. Again, thank you so so so much.
Bruneian: Dear Rinpoche, I hope your teachings will be spread worldwide. No words can express how I feel as I read along each and every line humbly put in by you. I am hoping for the best for you and your team. Thank you all for welcoming me.
Kenny Chan Tk : Keep it up rinpoche. Everyone have own styles n ways of teaching even practicing dharma. Tht why have 84000 ways in buddha practices. We, the sick person need different doctors. Good luck n congratulation my great guru.
Nicole Mikel : I am drawn to your teachings because you are not afraid to just say it the way it is. The good, bad, pretty and ugly. You teach clear truth and how to live with the reality of truth. That is what I need. That is what helps and heals. Thank you for all of your effort and energy you put into sharing your wisdom with us. I have gained more freedom and understanding from your help than any other source. Namaste
Corinne Trang : To me you are a Buddha... you have the gift of reaching people from all walks of life, around the world. I'm grateful for what you've shared with me, from so far away. The sheer amount of work you've accomplished with fellow Kecharians to spread the Dharma is amazing. That you welcome all, not just those at the Kechara center, I so appreciate at this time in my life. Your actions speak very loud, and your messages are clear... and now I enjoy my solitude reading your books and the preliminaries. Thank you Rinpoche :-)
May Ong: We took some time to discuss the book, The Promise by Rinpoche (you can get the book from here http://vajrasecrets.com/the-promise-a-tsem-tulku-biography.html) a few weeks ago. Initially most of us were not aware there was so much to learn from this book about Rinpoche’s life story and journey in dharma. We finished discussion on this book after 10 days. We all came to a conclusion that Rinpoche had never ever given up on dharma since the day he was born. Monks asked for him to go into the monastery but was refused. Then he went through very tough childhood and hardship to find his way back into dharma and met great Teachers and then Ganden to finally fulfill his wish to be a ordained monk. Rinpoche’s journey in dharma showed great imprints from previous lives effort to only want to benefit others even though he has to sacrifice whatever he has. It was never about his own needs. Rinpoche has never given up on us. When others told him to give up and would not make it, they did not realize the potential Rinpoche had then, now and future. We are the ones that gave him up.
JJ: Rinpoche has been very kind to me for a huge part of my life especially after my studies and when I started 'working' in the Dharma. What you see in the studio here is prolly a chip off of what Rinpoche is doing in Kechara House. I will be organizing 'pilgrimage' trips back to motheship KH once in a while to let you guys see what Rinpoche has invested His entire life for.
Eugene Lee: Thank You for all you have done Rinpoche, without having the karma to come across your videos on YouTube, I wouldn't have able to know more about Buddhism and such and having to meet JJ and the Mordern fellowship, by the way, I'm starting to become vegetarian at least once a week for staters =] thank you Rinpoche and may you continue to be healthy and long life to be able to benefit more people like me and turn the wheel of the dharma for us.
Charlie James : Thank You for seeing beyond those in the past to share dharma to help all our futures Rinpoche
Roek Kiye : Your open en direct way of communication is appealing to many (non) Asians. This is your personal style and it is only natural that it influences your communication and perhaps your dharma.. Indeed you are doing a great job, I would say keep up the good work. Namaste.
mima: Thank you Rinpoche for doing always your best and teaching us by example. Everything you do come from pure intent from the right motivation and you are guiding me on the Dharma path, the right track.
Don: Rinpoche - You are truly an inspiration! Your example is itself a Dharma teaching that we should all follow!
Kate: Tsem Rinpoche is a Great example of commitment, dedication and the triumph of hard work in the right direction. He is absolutely right: "The best way to prove rumours wrong is to be inspired by them and do your best and succeed. Successful results just totally quiets everyone down." So that's what I'm going to do. It just totally cuts through all the nonsense. It's about results. Thank you, Rinpoche, you are Great!
Marten: I have to come to malaysia to kechara house. i have to see Tsem Rinpoche. In every video i have to laugh. then i feel shame. then i feel happy and want to be a student of TR. Often i think you look in my inner, RInpoche. I wish there will be a little conection in me to you. so in nother lifes i will have the luck to see you again. ****...i am sitting here in cold germany. i have to work and do all the funny things which called samsara. there is a great wish deep in me. the same thing which was the reason to find more in life. until now i was not often in internet. but now i feel i have to hear every word and every blog of TR. And ll this with an Bad english. but i will learn fast. things i like i often be very fast. Good night to all your good kechara people. Om mani padme hum and om ah hum bendza guru pema siddhi hum
Carmen: : Thank you for your fun and creative ways to teach us. The quiz is really stimulating.
HC: This is the most happening blog ever..
Li Kheng: Dear Rinpoche, Thank you for the update. It is really encouraging and inspiring to know that Rinpoche’s teachings are reaching so many people and benefiting them. During the Dharma Weekend, I realized how fortunate I was to be able to have such a platform to have easy to understand access to Dharma teachings. Practically almost all of the little I know are from the teachings Rinpoche share on this blog. Most times, reading Dharma books are difficult to understand due to the level of my mind, so Rinpoche’s assimilation of the 2600 year old teachings of Lord Buddha increases effectiveness of comprehension. The posts Rinpoche shares are also directly linked to our daily lives, making it easier for us to relate and, hopefully, practice more and more. I thank all involved in supporting Rinpoche to make this blog a space available and beneficial to people from all corners of the world and all walks of life. I hope that all involved will also continue to actively support Rinpoche make this blog even more rich in content of experiences and constructive points of view. Much thanks and gratitude, always.
Keith: Good morning Kecharians! I am new here and I am glad to be here. I agree that it's because of Rinpoche I have now a better understanding about Tsongkhapa. Since then I have started to research and study about Tsongkhapa through Rinpoche's videos teachings, books, and blogs. Now I have been enjoying doing the Gaden Lhagyama. I rejoice and feel gratitude that I have come across Rinpoche's teachings through today's technology even though I am far away from Malaysia. I believe that Rinpoche's presence is truly benefit a lot of people, so I would sincerely like to request Rinpoche to stay.
Pastor Susan: Feb 26, 2012 at 6:33 am Congrats Vincent. It was fun to play online dharma games together. Rinpoche sure is super creative and you were super fast in finding the answers. :) see here: http://blog.tsemtulku.com/?p=28672
MC: Mc on Feb 25, 2012 at 5:33 am Now I cannot imagine life without this Rinpoche’s blog. Seng Piow, Justin and many others today provide this lifeline that keep so many people connected to posts that are in fact dharma teachings. Both Justin and Seng Piow look totally knackered but so filled with peace. Thank you Justin, SP and the blog team.

Don Buchwalter: It was you, Rinpoche, that helped me view things this way. Dharma is the only thing that no one can take away - so it is the ULTIMATE possession.
Staci Feger-Pellessier : Rinpoche-la, you are SO inspiring!!!
Patricia Tiller: I just want to say that I have been inspired and touched by your story. Part of my childhood was spent in New Jersey, near Trenton and then at the McGuire Air Force Base. My family moved from there when I was 8 years old. I became a Buddhist in 2008 at the age of 50. I particularly liked your video on Vajrayogini. Your devotion is inspiring. I wish you well in all your endeavors.
Amy: It is my wish that someday, I will have the merit to meet you in person. You are alway so thoughtful and selfless. I must have done something right in my past life to be a ble to hear your dharma teachings. I am very happy. Take good care. May I be able to take on your pain and suffering so that you can continue to teach the dharma and benefit so many others.
Alan Watts: Rinpoche, I first became acquainted with you in youtube through the video "don't embarrass the Buddha" and have been following you on facebook ever since. that video was powerful and opened my eyes to the hypocrisies i was ignoring in my dharma practice. this most recent video on "cosmic tantra" has come at a time that i have been struggling with the very questions/idea that you raise in this video. i have been striving to get teachings, guru, teach me, blah blah, while at the same time, not behaving in a manner outside of my dharma practice that would make me a qualified, respectable recipient and disciple. i haven't even finished prostrations and want more more!!!! but, my guru made this clear to me in a subtle way, and your video has further my understanding and opened my eyes at this juncture in my practice to how mistakenly i am behaving. thank you for your teachings, and letting me share with you.
Molly McButter : Rinpoche, it breaks my heart to be born so far away from you. When KWPC becomes reality, I dream that I will be able to go there to do the preliminary practices in retreat. As a result of having found your videos, I have begun my study of the Lamrim. I have read (and continue to read) Lama Atisha's Lamp to the path, and now am beginning to read Lama Tsongkhapa's Lamrim Chenmo. Thank you for your unending kindness and my heartfelt prayers for your long life, in order that you may continue to turn the wheel of dharma for the benefit of all. Om ah guru kirti daza shasen-dara kyandi siddhi hung hung Om tare tuttare ture mama ayuh punyah jnana putrim kuruye soha Om bekanze bekanze maha bekanze randza samudgate soha Namo saptanam samyaksambuddha kotinam tadyatha om cale cule cundi soha
comel loo: Dear Rinpoche, thank you for your video teaching on Cosmic Tantra. I am so glad for this blog as I am still raw about Dharma, but with this video I can replay anytime when I don't understand. With folded hands I wish you good health.
Hui Keng: This is the most wonderful introduction to highest yoga tantra teaching I ever got in my life. It is simply marvelous! Rinpoche elucidates the teaching in the most precise, clear, easy to understand and interesting manner. It comes from his passion, love and care for every single being. We are most fortunate and it touches me deeply. A 'THANK YOU' is not enough but to repay Rinpoche's kindness means we have to practise his teaching immediately!
Eugene Lee: : To My Dearest Guru Rinpoche, I thank you so much for your compassion and teachings that you give online via youtube and I'm definitely one of thinks of you as my guru though we are apart by Country (I'm in Singapore) I pray that your health will get better and my prayers go out to Rinpoche that you will get better and benefit more sentient beings. I like to offer myself to Rinpoche as I feel that the way Rinpoche teaches and spreads the dharma is the most unique that Mordern people like me can relate to and I would like to offer my services if Rinpoche ever has plans to open a centre in Singapore and i'm willing to devote myself to this centre if Rinpoche is willing to make it happen. Hope that Rinpoche will consider it and also hopefully I can have a Chance to meet Rinpoche in person. With Love Eugene
Plinio Tsai: Excelent teachings! We have misconceptions - transform over night, such afflictive bhava.... we hide, come out, then not happy and hide again... you got do the home work if you want results! Months, years, a lot of effort, determination to transform the mind! Home work behind de scenes is the secret, it is the case for martial arts, for Dharma, for anything... but specially for the Dharma! Tsem-la that is the most funny Dharma images I ever had ahahahahhahaa Please, continue to display skifull means to teach the Dharma and have a long life!!!! Still think it is the most funny Dharma class and same time so deep! Thank you very much ! ahahahahaa   View original comments
David McCollester: David McCollester Just to reinforce the importance of these videos. The video: Discovering Yourself: A Teaching on Karma & Your Mindstream actually help save my life in the darkest hour of my life. Thank you Seng Piow and H.E. Tsem Tulku Rinpoche.   View original comments
Melvin Racelis: Thank you Rinpoche. Your teachings always increase my Guru devotion. People may think and say bad things about some of my Gurus, but your example shows me rumors/gossip have no place in Dharma, and there is no use listening to divisive speech. All I can say is that the teachings of my Gurus truly have benefited my mindstream. It is really thanks to your teachings that I am able to learn so much from my other Gurus. May all holy Gurus such as Tsem Rinpoche and His Holiness the Dalai Lama live long and healthy lives, and may all their Dharma activities be fulfilled and fully manifested for the benefit of all sentient beings. Christopher Seaman: Rinpoche, I feel somewhat weird leaving a comment in a public setting like this, but I know you see this page, so I felt it was necessary to say. Before I saw your videos on YouTube, I had a very negative impression of Tibetan Buddhism. I thought it was misguided, fanatical, superstitious, etc. However, after watching your teachings, I formed a very different impression, and started becoming much ...more curious about Tibetan Buddhism in general. Before long, I started attending my local Dharma center, where I now live with my current teacher. In any case, I just wanted to express my gratitude to you, because I don't know if I would have come to the Dharma without your teachings. Please live a very long life because, as I personally can attest, you bring tremendous benefit to people all over the world. ♥   View original comments
Ron Doucet: Hello from way across the pond. I am a dharma practitioner from Massachusetts USA. I first heard of tsem rinpoche on YouTube and was immediately drawn to him. I had serious negative karma and broken vows and samayas, and was considering ending my life. Rinpoches letter to me and his teachings were of immense benefit and gave me hope that I could turn my life around. By watching and contemplating and applying tsem rinpoches teachings, my mind quickly transformed and I have a reason to live again. That reason is practicing the holy dharma and benefitting sentient beings. I feel like I owe my life to rinpoche and his kind staff. Therefore, I will dedicate any merit from my dharma practice to rinpoches long life and continued activity. I hope that rinpoche will be healthy as I personally I owe a great to him! I think the best thing we can do is continue with our practice, keep our vows/samayas intact and carry on rinpoches vision of letting the holy dharma grow in the world and in the mindstreams of sentient beings. Thank you again rinpoche, and the ledrang staff and everyone at the kechara organization. Sincerely, Ron d.   View original comments
Don: Rinpoche: A film based on your life would definitely be worthwhile. So often we see or hear the stories of those who were involved with the Dharma at a young age, and it is only rarely that we see or hear a story like yours. The "Precious Jewel Garland" states that one should not give up the Dharma because of desire, aversion, or fear. Your story can serve as an example of this kind of precious faith in the Three Jewels. As I mentioned on Facebook, your story, example, and teachings awakened within me the long suppressed desire to practice - I am positive that your example will aid countless others!   View original comments
Sean Pang: I have the pleasure and privilege of receiving 2 sets of the greeting cards as gifts from a wonderful person with a beautiful soul (and she's beautiful too!) who introduced me to Rinpoche's teachings and I'm impressed. As a long-time marketer with my own company specialising in branding and marketing, I appreciate the quality of delivery - well done! As a brand new student (pun intended) of Rinpoche's teachings, I'm in awe at how simply Rinpoche has conveyed profound messages and in a cool, witty, artistic and attractive way. They say a picture paints a thousand words but this is truly something else. The images and the settings evoke emotions. For me, they are a refreshing inspiration. They probably remind some of us of similar situations we've found ourselves in. Others may cringe if the images and what they represent stick a finger into quietly hidden prejudices that are conveniently ignored or dishonestly disguised. And if all of these messages fly over the heads of yet some other people, well hey, they're still cool and generic enough to be sent around. At least the money spent on getting them does some good somewhere else in the world. I showed them to friends here in Munich and they sparked off a long conversation that ranged from the similarities of religions (I repeated what Rinpoche said in another video and nodding heads greeted me), women's role in today's society (how many women have been voted into powerful positions that can make a difference around the world in the last year alone?), the difference in working styles between men and women (confrontation vs conversation, solution vs resolution)... and of course we discussed at length the concept behind and techniques used in creating and producing the cards... occupational hazard! This might be a German phenomenon (Germans love to discuss!) but I think it's simply magic how the greeting cards created conversations. It's great that something so "simple" can draw out opinions to be shared, discussed and somehow bring people together, no matter what the differences may be. I'm looking forward to more great stuff and I hope that, one day, I will have the privilege and honour to contribute to such projects. Congratulations and a heartfelt thank you to Rinpoche and the Kechara team! Sean   View original comments
Naomi: Dear Rinpoche, This post strongly reflects upon my life and I couldn't agree more of what you've said. Years ago, when I left home to study abroad, I suffered tremendously because life is much more challenging and I was reluctant to grow. I wanted to go home so badly because I feel insecure with everything and even don't know how to take care of myself with the most basic self care- eating, cleaning, etc. My life was a mess because I was so out of my comfort zone. I called my parents and wanted to give up. My family was upset because I wasted some time of my life being stubborn about this. Then, my mind started to wonder around, thinking if someone/ some kind of place could control me or make me become discipline, then my life would go back to normal. I even thought of becoming a nun living in a temple with strict rules would change my life. Ended up, that thought got rejected by myfamily. Now when I think back of this, I think my mindset was so wrong because I realized that even if i live at the most sacred temple to live there, my mind will still wonder. Environment can only change a person into some degree but it is up to that person to cultivate self-control/discipline. And you're right, becoming a nun/monk should not be a way to escape life. The funny thing is, when my life went back on track, my parents are upset because I am now fully independent and taking care of myself abroad. They told me that they regret of sending me abroad because their kids never come back to live with them and share their financial burden. I tried to explain to them about my situation and my future. Eventhough as kids, it is our responsibility to take care of them when they're old. But my parents are not that old, but they already have huge fear of being lonely and abandoned by their kids. Eventhough living abroad without family support could be difficult, but it is fullfilling because it makes us tougher and better person of who we are. I like your phrase " fail, get up and try again" becausee all of us are constantly experiencing this phase. Sincerely thank you Rinpoche! I appreciate your teachings.   View original comments
Jessi: Thank you Rinpoche for this beautiful poem. I wish I could find words of equal eloquence to express the depth of my gratitude for your teachings. Every article I read, every video I watch moves me. I leave this site and your youtube channel feeling truly changed with every lesson. The 8 Verses of Mind Transformation and Lama Tsongkhapa Guru Yoga that you recommended have become a part of my daily practice and just as you said, it has already brought me great happiness. Any questions I have about right thought, right speech, or right action are answered right there and takes such a weight off my shoulders. Life is so much more enjoyable with Dharma practice even though it's not always easy. It makes me laugh at my foolishness of chasing shadows of happiness all these years! I really am my own worst enemy. There is no gift that will ever be more precious to me than the lessons you give. Again, thank you. I hope all sentient beings get the opportunity to learn from you. I hope you live a long life happily knowing what a difference you make in the lives of others. :)   View original comments
Philip Yong: How nice to see a fellow youth spending time doing Dharma work. By doing Dharma work, it not only benefit other people but also ourselves. It opens up our mind to understand everything and everyone around us better. Very often, it makes us reflect on what we had been doing in the past (both good and bad) and how we can do those things better now. Better still how we can use our abilities to benefit more people and other beings. There really is no right time to start doing Dharma work. If I want to avoid, I can have a million valid excuses. But where will that lead me to? At least by doing Dharma work, I know I will be benefiting all sentient beings directly or indirectly. Personally I am still very new to all these and am still studying, working and partying. But I no longer will avoid doing Dharma work whenever my services are needed. I will take the initiative and make effort to do Dharma work as much as possible. To do or not to do, its all in the mind!   View original comments
Thierry: I just come out from a liaisons' council meeting with my spirit up and inspired! It is my wish that I can help more by becoming a liaison of Tsem Tulku Rinpoche. This wish is not purely motivated by helping others, it is also motivated by my wish to help myself. Indeed, in the last few months I have been privileged to work directly with some of the liaisons and have had to face my short-comings, that is, to name a few: cover-ups, sneakiness, blaming others, hiding, manipulating others, carelesness, etc... These short-comings are the rule of the game in worldly ways and one can get by being sneaky and blaming others if one is skillful in worldly terms, playing power games, talking well, bribing, etc... But when I tried to apply my "ways" as I have used them for over 40 years now with my Dharma brothers and sisters, they would not let me win and they would make me face these short-comings of mine, make me acknowledge them and turn my regrets into reparative actions. They teach me to take responsability for not only what I am in charge of but also for the people operating around me and of whom's work I am dependant to. The lojong is not just a beautiful teaching to meditate on, it is a teaching to be practiced, and what better field of practice than my field of short-comings when I am surrounded by Dharma brothers who have my sake in mind? Acting as a liaison comes with a responsibility that, in fact, we should all have liaisons-or not, the responsibility to help others at ALL levels before any other sellfish agenda. May I become a liaison, this is my prayer, and even if I am a bit scared of the commitment it requires, I know that it will help me enormously, so I am ready to jump. And if it helps me, it will help others. Rinpoche also said today not to wait until the karma to work for Dharma closes, because it will close if we don't grasp at the oportunity. And I want to win, I want to be a spiritual winner!   View original comments

Thank you.

I cannot even begin to thank you, to be honest - you are so amazing! (The day I came across your teachings legit changed everything for me.) I sincerely hope, wish (and pray) that ALL you wish for comes true, even better than you envisioned. Thank you again! Today is such a blessed day!

Thank you for your unending kindness and my heartfelt prayers for your long life, in order that you may continue to turn the wheel of dharma for the benefit of all. comel loo: Dear Rinpoche, thank you for your video teaching on Cosmic Tantra.

Thank you Tsem Rinpoche. The following was sent to David Lai earlier today…Hello David. Firstly, thank you for all that you do to aid Tsem Rinpoche. Your hard work is greatly appreciated. I am just reading some of the fb posts by people in regard to the Shugden picture with his Eminence. I am truly saddened that there lives are so empty they must fill the world with hatred and persecution. I truly hope they realize the error of their ways and make reparations for the damage they are doing.I have learned so much from Tsem Rinpoche and I feel great compassion for him and honor his teachings and that of his preceding lineage holders. I live in an area of canada that has no Dharma center and no Buddhism to speak of. Without the teachings Kechara has provided through the internet I fear I may have chosen the wrong path. I thank you from the inner most depths of mind and heart for your invaluable contributions to The Dharma and the bringing about of the liberation of all sentient beings. Even those who hold wrong views. Deeply disturbed that these individuals would spend so much time and energy on making themselves look so foolish. On a lighter note…I went to a gift shop here in canada. miramichi, new brunswick to be exact and wanted to purchase a statue fitting to my practice here at home. There were 50 of the same laughing Buddhas! lol One large over priced laughing buddha and one small statue of what I thought was a Buddha? Well, excited I bought it. I thought it was Ushnishavijaya? When I got it home I learned that it was in fact Bramha, the Thai version, Phra Phrom? It is a Hindu Dharni but holds a wheel of Dharma? Well, to make a long story short, it was PHRA PHROM what I was looking for! ha The owner of the store told me that people come in and leave money on the buddhas belly and other people come along and steal it. Ah, Samsara! HA! I am a personal care aid working with the disabled and the elderly and recently lost a client I worked with, as he passed on. Therefore it has been a difficult few months made easier by yourself and all the hard work you and Tsem Tulku Rinpoche are doing. Not to mention everyone else who supports your efforts. Thank you so much. I would love to hear from you and will continue to follow and support. Many blessings take care. Your friend. Mark

    Dear H.E. Tsem Tulku Rinpoche,

First of all, I am not sure if you would get to read my post and kindly excuse my English that it may not be perfect. My name is Sirima. I am from Thailand living in Malaysia (KL).I have been here for about 5 and a half years. I merely have a chance to practice Buddhism. There are some temples here but there aren’t many centers to learn about Dhama. I have been watching your Dhama teaching every day. I find it is very very meaningful to me especially when I am now depressed. You make me feel a lot better. I am impressed and thankful to you as a person and also as a monk. Although I came from a Buddhist country, I find it is not so easy to understand as there are many differences from what I used to be familiar with.I am very fortunate to learn about Buddhism through your new way of teaching.Last but not least, I wish to have an opportunity to you one day.

    Sincerely Yours,
    Sirima

    Dear Rinpoche,
Thanks for the motivation that the pastors rendered at Kechara Viva. It is not merely excuses not attending at times but sometimes just situations that do not allow.
I did do my daily chantings at home as a responsible follower of Rinpoche. And I find that beneficial.
Very NICE and BENEFICIAL blog for everyone and hope that you put a contrast to the words and the background to enable more visibility.
Thank you very much. Wishing Rinpoche long life.
    Sincerely,
    Li

    karma is a simple word
it is the word from sanskrit which means directly cause and effect
sounds easy it is direct translation

but onece you understand cause and effect as at least half intelligent

you then begin to explore all that causes and all that effects forever more and forever before

    “Dear friends,

This is really a ground breaking documentary by world respected BBC. This is a video that must be seen. Let me know your comments.

I love interfaith harmony. It is my hope these videos so beautifully produced will contribute to interfaith harmony, understanding and peace among all living beings.

    Tsem Rinpoche”

Dear Rinpoche – Thank you for your comments above about interfaith harmony. As you & His Holiness The Dalai Lama have often stressed, tolerance & respect for other faiths & religious/spiritual traditions is very important for our spiritual progress & growth. May I recommend the following two books promoting interfaith harmony (that I hope many readers will benefit from):
The Perennial Philosophy by Aldous Huxley
A Calendar of Wisdom by Leo Tolstoy (The Indian Saint, Mahatma Gandhi, acknowledged the beneficial influence that Tolstoy’s writings had on him). I have also written ten short introductory one page essays about ten Spiritual Classics (Buddhist, Christian, Hindu & Taoist) designed to encourage readers to read these great books by Spiritual Saints & Sages and to pursue the spiritual life as best they can in these difficult, materialistic times. (How can I send this Word document to you if you are interested in reading it & adding it to your blog for the benefit of your readers?)

With great respect, appreciation & admiration for your wonderful work & dedication in bringing the Dharma to the whole world via YouTube, etc.

    Dear Tulku,
    My sincere Namaste ,

I am 24 years old and i am working in a small organization.I am not budhhist nor do i have any link in buddhism. But yesterday i saw a very confusing dream which led me to google through my computer.

In my dream i saw a green field i was going with some ppl and in front of me was a big black car it showed its orange and yellow and red flaslight like lights over me and groaned and same straight to kill me i tried to hide myself beside a lady and child but it kept following me trying to hit me then and old monk whom i was thinking a begger or a thief in my dream saved me took me to a house. The house was of i think 4 storeys the top most was locked and there was a board written “DAKINIS” there were men and women together there was a warm and strong smoke all over i can still feel it was so strong…they were talking a different language when i asked them the monk told me it was a DAKPA language…and then i kept pulling a guy upwards who was with me whom i dont recongnized then i even pulled and helped the monk to come upward as he was very old through a cover that was in the house balcony and i waked up today..

Please help me what kind of dream was it was..i thought i should ask some advice with you dear tulku..please advice me.

Hello. Ron here. I did lama tsongkhapas guru yoga last night and wow, it REALLY works!!!! Hahahaha. I found my mind much more still and concentrated, especially during the visualization part and for awhile after. Then after I did the whole thing I put a lama tsongkhapa thanka image as the background on my new computer and played some original music that I had written as I looked at and contemplated his holy form as a sensory offering kinda thing. It was like an electronic altar or something. Sounds silly maybe, but seems to have brought good results cuz I felt a lot clearer, less attached and more altruistic today especially when I went to the gym. You better believe I will be doing tsongkhapas guru yoga again tonight!! Hope all are well. -Ron d.

The concept of rebirth has a long association with Buddhism. Rebirth in Buddhism refers to the teaching that the actions of a sentient being lead to a new existence after death, in an endless cycle called saṃsāra. One will begins a new life in a new body that may be human, animal or spiritual depending on the moral quality of the previous life’s actions. What they are reborn as depends on their actions in their previous life rather kamma. As a Buddhist we should believe in rebirth but still many people don’t . Buddha taught us that choices of rebirth make a difference and can shape many lifetimes. Buddhists believe that nothing that exists is permanent and everything will ultimately cease to be. There is a belief in rebirth

Against the odds two inspiring nuns fought all the way to become ordained, fighting for their rights to practice Buddhism . Interesting read of how they went through , bringing equality for women in Thailand. Buddhism is the predominant religion in Thailand. Officially, only men can become monks and novices in Thailand under a Buddhist order. The country does not recognize female monks or novices. In recent years, more Thai Buddhist women seeking to become full-fledged female monks, have been defying the tradition getting ordained overseas, in Sri Lanka or India. Buddhist women have been fighting for years for equality and social acceptance in Thailand. They just can’t be ordained by Thai monks. Ven. Dhammananda, 68 year old former university lecturer and activist became Thailand’s first Theravadin bhikkhuni after going the odds. Inspiring read biography on Ven. Dhammananda and Ven. Dr. Lee. They had gone through great hardships, discrimination and against the many odds in bringing equality to women in Buddhism in Thailand.
Thank you Rinpoche for this great inspiration post.

The unseen things are spiritual realities that are eternal and invisible to our physical eye. There are many forces and phenomena that are not visible to the naked eye. There are many things that humans cannot see yet there are some could see. For what is can be seen is only. Things do exist even we can’t see, believing their existence is our choice. Things that we can’t see in the world opens up a curiosity and exploration by some. Whether through scientific inquiry, or spiritual exploration, the pursuit of knowledge about the unseen can lead to profound insights about ourselves and the universe.
Malacca City is the historic capital of the coastal state of Malacca, in Malaysia serving as a link between east and west for over 500 years. Famous for breath-taking sights with rich heritage, ancient dark culture and history with many old centuries buildings with an interesting past and a colourful ghost story. For that reason alone it is worth visiting as is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site owing to its well-preserved historical center. There’s many historical mansions been passed down generation to generations and with many ghostly sighting by the locals and visitors. There’s the reason many unseen beings loitering and attached to these places. Such an interesting and incredibly creepy watching the video in this blog host by Li Kim. Li Kim had done a great work all along with her team to share with readers about our historic Malacca .

Vajrayogini symbolizes the wisdom of all enlightened beings and embodies the impulse of inspiration that drives the Buddhas to attain the perfect enlightenment. Vajrayogini is one of the most effective practices for people today. We can make offerings such as gold or jewel offerings and so on. The offering of gold helps us to collect merits, spiritual attainments, gain a deeper connection to Vajrayogini. It also creates the causes to attain a Buddha’s body.
Make Offerings to Vajrayogini in Kechara Forest Retreat at Bentong is such an meritorious way for us to collect merits. All thanks to our Guru having conceptualised the idea of having a statue of Vajrayogini for everyone . Recitation of Vajrayogini mantra can be a powerful tool for self-transformation, healing and liberation from samsara.
Thank you Rinpoche for this sharing with details explanation .

Thank you, Rinpoche for sharing this insightful article. Life is short, and if we enjoy every moment of every day, then we will be happy no matter what happens or what changes along the way. What ever matter to us at the time of death is nothing. In the end, it’s not the years in our life that count it’s what you leave behind that matters. A great soul never dies. It brings us together again and again.Death is the golden key that opens the palace of eternity. A man who lives fully is prepared to die at any time. Learning Dharma and practicing dharma is the our choice that’s matter. Some of the key points to take notes, read, study the Lam Rim and apply it, engage in Sadhana daily and consistently. No one will help us at the moment of death but ourselves. Spiritual practicing is the best choice.

Well the size of Buddha statues in Tibetan Buddhism is important because it represents the Buddha’s immense ability and vast knowledge. Hence the Buddha statues hold the symbol of satisfaction within, peace and happiness. They are a symbol of inspiration for every human being. When we focus on the Buddha statues, it gives us inner peace that our mind, our heart and our soul gets enlightened.
We have are so fortunate seeing and circumambulating where the 9-foot Dorje Shugden statue and with 500 mantra stones engraved with Dorje Shugden’s sacred mantra. As Rinpoche had said before the bigger and more Buddha statues helps in planting seeds of enlightenment in people’s mind-streams. It also help us to generate as much merit and purify as much karma as possible. Merely by seeing all those big statues at Kechara Forest Retreat is a blessing.
    Thank you Rinpoche.

The 4th Tagpu Pemavajra Jampel Tenpai Ngodrub, most commonly known as Tagpu Dorje Chang, was a highly accomplished yogi Highly attained lama who had many authentic visions of the Buddhas and even travel astrally to receive direct teachings from them. His recognised line of incarnations stem all the way back to the 14th Century. He is generally regarded as such amongst Gelug lineage holders. He spent most of his time in a hermitage located above Sera Monastery, gave teachings and transmitted many vital practices and lineages to his foremost student Kyabje Pabongka Rinpoche. Besides receiving the complete instructions of Dorje Shugden’s practice, Tagpu Dorje Chang had many other mystical experiences throughout his lifetime. Interesting read biography of a highly accomplished mahasiddha lama.

n Tibetan culture, it is a popular and customary practice for families to invite monks to perform spiritual ceremonies such as Trusol rituals. The monks have had the opportunity to offer such ceremonies for individuals or their families. Such ceremonies purify the elements of the environment which helps those living or visiting there to experience good health, success and well-being. The sacred ritual of ‘bathing’ the Buddhas and consecration through which negativities, sicknesses and obstacles will be cleared. Where by filling those areas with positive energies and good vibes through this Trusol consecration puja. Water is an essential part of this puja and symbolises the cleansing of all negativities and impurities. Through this puja it also pacifies local deities and other unseen beings in the surrounding areas. We are indeed fortunate that Tsem Rinpoche has taught Kecharians this practice and it has benefited many.

Reading this post had me gain some knowledge of Shifter Werewolves. Any article regarding rare creatures or paranormal articles are of my interest since young. In European folklore, a werewolf is a man who turns into a wolf at night and devours animals, people, or corpses but returns to human form by day. They have the ability to transform from an ordinary human appearance to a partially-lupine form with pointed ears, mutton chops, claws and fangs, and a ridged brow . Wow… werewolf tends to be vicious and unable to control his blood thirst. Their underlying common origin can be traced back to Proto-Indo-European mythology. In many depictions, these bloodthirsty beasts are evil where they kill animals and innocent people. They are humans who transition into wolf-like creatures, after being placed under a curse. In folklore, most werewolves originate from being cursed or bitten by another werewolf. That’s what they do believe. According many enthusiasts, there’s many different type of werewolves such as Alpha wolves, Beta wolves , Deltas, Elders, some survive as loners while others move in packs. How true it is no one knows. I do believe their existing . Many interesting stories related to these wolves in the past history.

Beautiful Dorje Shugden at Malacca. One should pay a visit there, located at a busy tourist place. It was such an auspicious occasion that a grand Puja was held there. Dedicated students and volunteers were there getting the place ready for the grand puja. Well the Grand Dorje Shugden puja was conducted by very own Kechara puja team to commemorate the chapel’s 3rd anniversary. Many people attended the Puja that’s wonderful to receive the powerful Protector Dorje Shugden blessings. More people will make a connection and get to know Manjushri, the Buddha of Wisdom, in the form of a Dharma Protector. May Dorje Shugden’s practice flourish to benefit those tourists and locals.

Venerable Geshe Rabten Rinpoche is a highly realised meditation master known as a debater, scholar, and meditation master, was the first Tibetan Buddhist master to introduce the complete Vinaya-tradition. He had also introduce the study of the five major topics of Buddhism to the West. He became the ‘path breaker’ of the complete and complex teachings of Buddhism in the West. Many masters, who are famous in the West today, were Geshe’s students. enerable Geshe Rabten. Geshe Rabten wrote the beautiful and Manjushri’s prayer called Gangloma and gave a profound explanation. We are so fortunate to learn about this Manjushri’s sacred prayer. May all be blessed by the practice of Lord Manjushri and Geshe Rabten’s explanation.

The begging bowl or alms bowl is one of the simplest but most important objects in the daily lives of Theravada Buddhist monks. The alms bowl still stands as an emblem of how all Buddhas, as numerous as grains of sand in the Ganges, practiced to end their desire. All those who receive the alms bowl should focus their mind to act with self-control and self-respect. Almsgiving is a tradition of Theravada Buddhists, majority in Thailand, Cambodia, Myanmar, Sri Lanka and Laos. In those early days of Buddhism, monks would take their bowls and go out begging for food. As today in Thailand one could see monks woke up before dawn every morning and carried his bowl through the roads or paths wherever he was staying. Local people would place food in the bowl as a donation, through the generosity of lay people. They accept whatever food is offered for them and eat whatever been given, serve as a blessing for the giver.
One bowl has held the food of a thousand families. A solitary monastic travels on his journey of a hundred thousand miles seeking liberation from the cycle of birth and death.
Thank you H.E. Tsem Rinpoche for explaining the meaning of begging and gave us more reasons to be vegetarian . Create a awareness among us not killing animals to be one.

Ajahn Siripanyo, the son of billionaire Ananda Krishnan, chose to abandon his inheritance and become a Buddhist monk in pursuit of spirituality. A Thai-Malaysian monk born in London and educated in UK. He was ordained in Thailand and lived there, leaving behind a life of immense wealth and privilege. He did surprised many and his choice was unexpected. Initially as a temporary measure, but somehow later evolved into a permanent way of life. Ven. Ajahn Siripanyo is now the Abbot of hermitage Dtao Dam on the Thai-Burmese border in Saiyok National Park, Thailand.
He was in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia years back giving an enthralling Dhamma talk on the timeless teachings of Ajahn Chah.

The Unknown

The Known and unknown are both feared,
Known is being comfortable and stagnant,
The unknown may be growth and opportunities,
One shall never know if one fears the unknown more than the known.
Who says the unknown would be worse than the known?
But then again, the unknown is sometimes worse than the known. In the end nothing is known unless we endeavour,
So go pursue all the way with the unknown,
because all unknown with familiarity becomes the known.

What the meat industry figured out is that you don't need healthy animals to make a profit.
Sick animals are more profitable... farms calculate how close to death they can keep animals without killing them. That's the business model. How quickly they can be made to grow, how tightly they can be packed, how much or how little can they eat, how sick they can get without dying... We live in a world in which it's conventional to treat an animal like a block of wood. ~ Jonathan Safran Foer
